Joseph Fuda
President
Joseph Fuda is President of two wind energy companies, Twenty Two Degree Energy Corporation, which is developing a 150 MW site on the shore of Lake Huron and Echo Power Generation Inc., which is developing a site on the north shore of Lake Erie to provide 50 MW of wind energy. Joseph is also Vice-President of Echo Energy Canada, a publicly traded company on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). The firm has successfully completed an exploration and drilling program near Port Burwell in South Western Ontario which resulted in identifying significant reserves of natural gas. Echo Energy is also completing construction of a pipeline to deliver a natural gas to local markets.
In addition, Mr. Fuda is President and C.E.O. of Micromem Technologies Inc., a research and development company engaged in research of Magnetic Random Access Memory (MRAM). Micromem has focused the last 5 years on the development of MRAM memory. The memory will be suitable for various applications including Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags. Micromem is a publicly traded company (NASD OTC-Bulletin Board - Symbol MMTIF). Prior to his current business activities, Joseph was Executive Vice President of IPO Capital a Toronto based brokerage firm with offices in Vancouver and Calgary. In that role, he managed the take over and raised both debt and equity financing for 20 public companies. Over a ten year period, Mr. Fuda was responsible for raising in excess of $150,000,000 (CDN). IPO was sold to another Toronto firm 2 years ago. Joseph received his BA from the University of Toronto, and holds certificates administered by the Canadian Securities Institute for Partners, Directors and Officers and for Registered Representatives. He is also a licensed pilot.
Charles Edey
Chief Operating Officer
Charles Edey is Chief Operating Officer of two wind energy companies, Twenty Two Degree Energy Corp. and Echo Power Generation Inc. He is responsible for all aspects of wind generation development from concept to in-service. These responsibilities include the acquisition of land, power purchase contracts, development contracts and equity investments to support the renewable energy strategy of Twenty Two Degree. In January 2004 Mr. Edey completed 24 years of service with Ontario Hydro and its successor Ontario Power Generation (OPG), ending his service as Senior Business Development Officer in the Renewable Energy Group. From 1994 to 2004, Mr. Edey was involved in every major wind development project at OPG, as Site Coordinator of the Tacke Wind Project, Project Manager of the 1.8 Mega Watt (MW) demonstration wind turbine at Pickering, and Project Manager of Huron Wind, a 9 Mega Watt (MW) wind project developed jointly with British Energy. Mr. Edey is currently the chair of the Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA) and has given presentations on wind energy to numerous groups and organizations as a recognized leader in the industry.
Dan Amadori
Chief Financial Officer
Dan Amadori is Chief Financial Officer two wind energy companies, Twenty Two Degree Energy Corp. and Echo Power Generation Inc. He has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services sector. After graduating with a B.Comm from McGill in 1972, an MBA from Ivey in 1974, he joined Arthur Anderson. He qualified as a CA in 1976 and spent 12 years in public practice. In 1986 Mr. Amadori assumed the position of President of a privately held communications business. This company grew and was ultimately sold to a large public entity in 1988. In 1988 Mr. Amadori founded Lamerac Financial Corp, a corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions firm. He has successfully concluded numerous transactions in different industry sectors across North America. Mr. Amadori has served as CFO of a number of public and private companies over the past decade and currently serves as an officer or director of 5 public companies and two private companies. He joined Echo Power Generation in June 2004.
Jennifer Lugtigheid, MBA, P.Eng.
Business Development Manager
Jennifer Lugtigheid is Business Development Manager of two wind energy companies Twenty Two Degree Energy Corp. and Echo Power Generation Inc. In that role, Ms. Lugtigheid applies her comprehensive experience as a wind energy engineer to overseeing all aspects of project development, including wind project design, environmental screening, electrical grid connection, procurement and stakeholder relations. From 1999 to 2004 Ms. Lugtigheid was the lead engineer with the Renewable Energy Group at Suncor Energy Products Inc., based in Calgary. While at Suncor, Ms. Lugtigheid was integral in the SunBridge Wind Power Project at Gull Lake, Saskatchewan and the Magrath Wind Power Project in southwestern Alberta. Ms. Lugtigheid completed her Bachelors of Applied Science degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo in 1999. In 2004 Ms. Lugtigheid completed a Masters of Business Administration degree as part of the Queen's University Executive MBA program. Ms. Lugtigheid is a licensed Professional Engineer and member of the Association of Professional Engineers Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA).
